Thread Hole Cleaner

If you need to insert a stud into a thread currently closed with a stud blank, you'll need to remove the stud blank first. If the hex socket is dirty, you can clean it using a masonry drill bit before removing the blank with a hex bit or key. If needed, you can also use a thread hole cleaner/cutter to clean the screw thread before inserting the stud.
