About Us

I'm Kathi van der Gugten, and I've owned, raised and ridden horses for the past three decades, primarily in Europe. After spending more than 40 years abroad, my husband Peter and I returned to the United States in 2017. Peter is an experienced Longrider and Alpine Trail Guide, spending roughly four months each year in the Alps or in the Rocky Mountains. He has witnessed the development of Duplo Horseshoes right from their beginning. We're thrilled to bring this time-tested product to the United States and make it available to you.
