    To enhance the durability of the synthetic material in the toe area, our Arizona horseshoe features a steel border that provides additional protection against wear and tear in that area which can be particularly useful in rocky terrain.

    In addition to its protective function, the steel border also has a similar effect to a toe weight horse shoe.

    If the steel edge in the toe area becomes visible even after a short period of time, it is NOT wear and tear, but rather completely normal. However, this does not necessarily mean that the shoe is still suitable for another shoeing period.

    Due to the additional steel edge, the risk of injuries in the herd is greater compared to the other Duplo composite horseshoe models.
